Buying your first crypto couldn’t be easier with TokenEX. Simply walk into one of our dedicated TokenEX franchises and approach the InfoKiosk tablet.
- Once there, choose the option Buy
- From the range of cryptocurrencies, pick the cryptocurrency of your choice
- Select the amount of fiat currency and check the conversion rate before clicking Confirm
- Then create a unique 6-digit PIN code*
- Once done, upon successful payment, a transaction ID will be generated which can be sent to your email address
*It is crucial to save the PIN code and the Transaction ID safely as it cannot be recovered at a later date. Once lost, the PIN code and ID cannot be changed. In case of any queries, do not hesitate to approach the exchange office employee who will be at your disposal.
Congratulations on your first TokenEX transaction! Wondering how to check your transaction at a later date? Just enter the TokenEX Web Application and find all the necessary information there. Before you start, make sure to have the Transaction ID and PIN code handy.
When ready, simply follow the instructions below:
- When on our website, click on the tab My Transactions visible on the top right corner
- Now choose the option Check your transaction
- Now, enter the Transaction ID and the PIN code* and click Confirm
- Once you have entered the right data, the amount of cryptocurrency you own is available for viewing
- An option to Make Transfer is also available and you can send your funds to an external wallet using the Make Transfer feature. To learn how, read the article Withdrawals
- After five minutes of inactivity on the screen, you get automatically redirected to the main page
*REMEMBER: It is crucial that you keep your Transaction ID and PIN code safely. Once misplaced, it cannot be recovered in any way – which results in losing the access to your funds. We recommend saving your ID and PIN code in a safe place, either in a USB stick or other hardware. Alternatively, it can be written on paper and safely stored as well.
What else are the Transaction ID and PIN code useful for?
If you purchased cryptocurrency at TokenEX or externally and want to sell it at our exchange offices, your Transaction ID and PIN code will come in handy.
Sale of cryptocurrencies stored in the TokenEX system
A prerequisite to selling cryptocurrencies on the InfoKiosk app at TokenEX exchange offices is to have the Transaction ID and PIN Code
- On the InfoKiosk app click on the option Sell
- Enter the Transaction ID and the unique 6-digit PIN code
- Upon correctly entering the information you are able to view the previously purchased cryptocurrency and its exchange rate to fiat currency
- Click on the Sell option
- Once approved, you will be able to receive payment in your preferred mode of payment along with a confirmation of transaction
Selling cryptocurrencies stored in an external wallet
If you did not buy crypto at TokenEX and want to sell it with us, that’s great too! Prior to visiting our dedicated exchange offices, you must deposit the necessary funds to the wallet of the chosen exchange office in the TokenEX network. Follow the steps below to find out how:
- When on our website, click on the tab My Transactions visible on the top right corner
- Now pick the option Deposit Funds
- Pick the cryptocurrency to be sold
- Choose the amount to be sold and enter the address of your external wallet
- Create a 6-digit PIN code and re-enter it correctly*
- Now, choose the dedicated exchange office you want to visit to pick up your fiat currency
- Click Confirm Transfer, now your transfer will be processed and a Transaction ID will be provided. You will also receive a confirmation on the amount of crypto sold
- Copy the wallet address displayed on the screen and complete the payment externally
- You can always check the status of your transaction by clicking on the tab Check your Transaction
- If the transaction is yet to be processed the status will be displayed as Waiting
- Once processed, the status will be Confirmed
- Now that the funds are in the TokenEX system, you can visit the partner exchange office of your choice and follow the instructions as given in the section Sale of cryptocurrencies stored in the TokenEX system
At TokenEX you can buy, sell, as well as store your crypto safely. All crypto purchased and sold with us safely stored within the TokenEX system. Your purchased crypto can be accessed using the Transaction ID and PIN code received at the time of purchase.
Crypto purchased at TokenEX can also be moved to any external wallet of your choice. Follow the instructions below to find out how:
- Click on the button My Transactions on the top right corner of the page
- Choose the option Check your transaction
- Here you will be able to check your previously completed transaction
- Fill in your Transaction ID and PIN code and click Confirm
- Upon entering the correct data, the amount of cryptocurrency purchases and information regarding the transaction will be visible
- To withdraw crypto to an external wallet, click on the button Make Transfer and fill in your wallet address correctly*
- After correctly putting in the wallet address, your transfer has been requested
- To learn how to check the status of your transfer request click on the section Check Transaction
*ATTENTION: It is crucial that you check your wallet address properly. If you enter it incorrectly, it results in losing the funds – they cannot be recovered in any way. We recommend copying your wallet address and pasting it into the WebApp.
